Who we are

Lana Sculpt Studio LLC operates this website and the studio at 2525 Camino Del Rio South, Suite 313, Room 3, San Diego, CA 92108. For any question about your data, call (858) 354-0717.

What this website collects

The site is a set of static pages and sets no cookies of its own. It does carry one advertising tracker, and because that is the kind of thing a privacy policy usually buries, it is named in full below.

• Fonts and images are served from this domain, so no third-party font or image provider receives your IP address.
• The map on the contact page is embedded from Google Maps. When it loads, Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies, under Google's privacy policy rather than ours.
• Google Analytics. Every page loads Google's analytics script, which sets cookies and records which pages you visit, how you arrived, and your approximate location, device and browser, under Google's privacy policy rather than ours. The studio uses it only to see which pages are read and which are not. Browser tracking protection or an ad blocker stops it loading.
• The Meta Pixel. Every page loads a script from Meta (Facebook). It tells Meta which pages of this site you looked at, along with your IP address and browser, and sets cookies under Meta's privacy policy rather than ours. If you have a Facebook or Instagram account, Meta can connect that visit to it, and the studio uses this to show ads to people who have been here before. When you tap to call, message on WhatsApp or open the booking calendar, the pixel also records that a tap happened — never your name, your number, or what you were asking about. You can limit this in your Facebook and Instagram ad settings, and browser tracking protection or an ad blocker stops it loading at all. [The pixel sets cookies for advertising, which needs consent in the EU and UK and a "Do Not Sell or Share" link for California visitors. If the studio advertises to anyone outside the US, a consent banner is required — decide this.]
• Online booking. Appointments are booked in the Acuity calendar, which opens from this site. The name, phone number, email and any answers you give there are held by Acuity under its own privacy policy and passed to the studio to manage your appointment. They are not added to a marketing list and they are not shared.
• Server logs. Our host records standard request logs, including IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting. This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, and those logs are held under Cloudflare's own retention policy. We add no logging of our own and do not analyse them.

What the studio collects

Booking a session involves more sensitive information than browsing the site does. Before your first appointment we take your name, contact details, and a health history covering the conditions that make these sessions unsafe. During a course we record measurements and, with your written agreement, progress photographs.

• Health information is collected only to decide whether it is safe to treat you.
• Photographs are kept private and are never published, shown to other clients, or used in marketing without separate written consent that you can withdraw.
• We do not sell, rent or share client information with anyone for marketing.

Client records are seen only by Lana. They are not shared with another practitioner, a marketing service, or any third party, and nobody else at the studio has access to them.

How long it is kept

Client records — health history and measurements — are kept for three years after your last session and then destroyed. Progress photographs are kept for as long as your consent stands and are destroyed as soon as you withdraw it. Enquiries that do not turn into bookings are deleted after twelve months.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for a copy, and ask for it to be deleted where we are not legally required to keep it. Call (858) 354-0717 and we will respond within 45 days, the period the California Consumer Privacy Act allows. You can withdraw consent for photographs at any time, and they will be destroyed.

Children

The studio does not treat anyone under 18, and this site is not directed at children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Material changes affecting existing clients will be communicated directly.
